Book club

The Book club meets monthly over lunch at The Queen’s Head, Barns Green, usually on the first Friday of each month at 12.30pm.

It is open to members of Mel’s Milers or any other interested readers who enjoy meeting for food and convivial conversation. It is low-key and we aim to exchange the titles of recently read novels as well as making sure that we know which titles we are going to read and discuss for the next two months. Titles are chosen on a consensus basis. These are usually recently published fiction titles which are available from libraries, in paperback or as e-books.
